Wheel and frame storage ideas

For simplicity, I'd suggest 2x discs of Scandi-ply, the inner ring screwed through the back of the outer ring, an undersize hole through the middle to take a bar of silversteel and press the undersized hole onto the rod so it physically can not be moved by hand.. excuse my rudimentary sketch.

The larger you go with the flange, the more weight it would support, if you did want to belt and brace it, you could tap a thread into the back of the bar and insert something like this

..but i honestly don't think you would need it, i bet it would easily hold 50kg without.

Just to finish this thread and give a massive thanks to @Betsy for his skills

Still got one more to fit but it’s perfect for what I need.

I think I solved wheel and tyre storage.

Bought the clothes rail from a second hand shop for £20, it's steel and very sturdy. S hooks with smaller hook on the top, works with the flattened tube shape to prevent the wheels from rotating where they hang. Wheelsets and rims hung by cable ties. Wired tyres sit on the lower rail nicely, and folders sit inside the tyre tunnel, it's on wheels so the whole lot can be moved easily.
