That's a nice entertaining website which pretty much covers lots of the common and troublesome forum user types in a slightly overstated and tongue-in-cheek way.
An yes, while it's easy to point fingers and start labeling other users, I believe the original post suggested looking at one's own forum personality before any one else's.
So let's not let this thread spiral off into a petty name-calling match or 'clever' game of negative insinuation shall we chaps?

I kinda feel it lost some impact, though, in not actually showing any introspection or humility that was expected of others.
And whilst I have commented in silverclaws defence at times (probably like you, I personally don't enjoy somebody being at the cutting end of several peoples' bile), being equitable he did actually make some subtle jibes himself.
Like you say, though, doesn't feel very retrobike - a bit of humourous, good natured banter is often amusing for all, but sometimes you can feel the undercurrents, and that just ain't cricket.

There is a character I am sure is missing from that site, though I am not going to wade through it to check.
It is the Quoter. Not certain what they think until they have sought affirmation, they rely on external material to satisfy their need to say something, but ensure any criticism is deflected.
