Nope, I can't accept that, as I am me online or off, and as of yet I have never had a punch in the mouth.
I get that as, I suppose, being commendable.
That said, there's a certain value to having experienced being knocked about a bit - perhaps best under controlled conditions, mind. I'm not going all Fight Club on you - or even the "Suits you!" pair from The Fast Show - I just mean that lessons learnt from organised pugilism, can be beneficial in life - and by that, I don't mean feeling that your capable - I mean feeling like you've encountered some of what could go wrong, in real life.
Like you, as an adult, I've never been on the receiving end of any violence in social situations (I'm sure that will probably suprise some...), but as a younger man, in gyms (either boxing, or martial arts) have had my clock cleaned a few times - and I have to say, it's an enlightening experience.
Most people I've encountered that have had some experience of fighting arts will gladly tell you how good they are / were - but that's all just to be expected - practically everbody I've met who wants to talk about such subjects, is, or was, an expert and lethal in their past - or knew or trained with somebody who really was... right. I don't think I've ever encountered somebody ever being brutally frank or earnest (finding it hard not to do that Samuel L Jackson gag from the Long Kiss Goodnight, there...) about it - but the truth is, finding yourself a little out of your depth, or at the receiving end of some punishment, can teach you some very valuable lessons in life.
