After the IF 07 thread its obvious (& extremely geeky!) that dropouts are a love hate kinda thing. My personal fave would (unsurprisingly!) be fat chance, specifically titanium. Although I do also like breezer "hooded style" IE on titus hcr, steve potts, breezer, ibis etc.
so whats yer favourite?

When you say "hooded" do you mean the Ritchey type ones?

I loved the Ritchey dropouts on the Kona Hot I had - I think these are just like the Ibis ones?

in ti it looks like that...

moots, curtlo, some voodoos, also use em. pretty certain cunningham did as well? probs steve potts? certainly their popularity alone across so many different brands must mean something :)

I like the hoody tractor arch Breezer ones, but scarily, I agree with Scant again  fat is best.

hey mike,
how about the Klein micro drop outs? my favourites! not a problem at all to swap the wheel once you're used to it and so wonderful minimalistic.

cheers, carsten

Those newer Klein dropouts always look like something has broken off (sorry!)

I must admit they were a massive improvement over the original Klein dropouts. I have to remove the QR everytime I need to remove a wheel from my 1992 one...nightmare...

:?

The machined dropout/doomed stay combination is my no.1
