What's your crank length ?

Generally 175 MTB and 170 road, but I'm fine with most lengths. I've got average length legs I suppose, 32-33 inches.

I have a 34" inseam and I ride 180 cranks on my MTB and 175's on the road. If your legs are long enough, the extra length cranks help, especially climbing on the steep bits in the dirt. On the road I find the shorter 175mm arms spin up faster, and the road is more of a consistent spinning pace than in the dirt.

I like to spin a small gear rather than grind away at a large one so 170 on my MTBs with 175 on my cruiser and the compromise of 172.5 on my Audax bike.

Very short legs here so generally a mix of 165 and 170 cranks. 165 on my cross style bike and 170 on the road bikes. I have however got 175s on my singlespeed!

I think the shorter ones are best for little legs!

Bit of a mixture between 170 and 175mm. For years I only rode with 175's and then recently I discovered that 170mm was the optimum length crank for me using and online bike builder program.

To be honest I don't really notice much of a difference between the two.
