Found it in the box of a rear wheel I bought off eBay. Looks very familiar but I can't recall where I've seen one before.

they are good on deep dish rims, but cost more than a normal spoke nipple and you needed a special tool to use the back square. they are heavier too because teeny tiny little bits of weight really really matter.

it's definitely been fitted, those corners don't take themselves off.
is it a factory built wheel? these were preferred because you could use a machine to tighten them instead of a normal spoke key.
