yep deffo one too many L's.......

so what country spells aluminium with 2 L's?..... wonder if Jeeves knows..lol

anyone heard of race designs?

the 05 refers to 7005 alu

i originally thought orange cos of the aluminium O bike and its stickers not cos of the colour...lol

ok aluminium is AL number 13 atomic number on the periodic table so spellin it with 2 L's is probably a play on the word by race designs?????????

its misspelt with 2 L's anywhere in the world it looks like...

the bikes got shimano deore stuff and rock shocks and looks exactly like this fuquay except where the back of the frame joins the seat tube....hmmmm

I don't get that :? ?

Why does 13 make it a play on words.

More like a marketing or trademarking thing.

-05 could just be the model or year

my mate had that exact frame , he bought it from the local bike shop where the guy called it a ......alluminium point 5.... it was a cheap-ish frmae at around £50 new but took some abuse.....

i'll nip into the bike shop and try get some more info about it for you.....

cheers big eck...

its a play on the word cos no country can spell aluminium with 2 l's cos its symbol is AL in the periodic table...not ALL

the americans spell the end of the word wrongly..lol

its atomic number is 13..apparently

so aluminium cant be spelt any other way..whoever made the frame is playing on the word or dyslexic..i suspect the first...

the frame welds look lush and its a bike of around '96 vintage so the 05 refers to the type of aluminium..7005...

i think its more than a 50 quid frame..your mate got a bargain... :D

alluminium is somestimes(very rarely) used as a word to denote an aluminium alloy. the aluminiums used in producing frames and components are not pure aluminium, but alloys. oh, and AL is used in the periodic table because there are other elements that begin with the letter A, so often the first two letters are used.
