Looking for a bike for a mate, cheap and big,, and this is on Ebay..is it any good?
The seller says it is 2 years old :? :? :?: :?: I don't think so.

To my knowledge alpinestars stopped making mtb's in the mid 90's
They went on to bigger and better things like motorcycle accessories.

That looks like one of there last creations to me in the mid 90's. Alpinestars dropped the e-stay frames and went back to more standard affairs from around '93 onwards and were never the same really, no more massive oversizing :cry:

This one is only carrying low end Altus kit by the looks of things so I would give it a wide berth, there always seems to be reasonable e-stay alpinestars frames and bikes with better spec kicking about on the 'bay for not much dollar
