What's the smallest diameter M730 front mech?

I got one in the parts bin, and it has no diameter stamped inside.
So I measured it, and it says 27.2 but I can't find any smaller than 28.6 on the web.
Is 27.2 a regular size?

Are you measuring it fully closed? There's usually a fair gap when it's clamped on the tube
