san andreas(here i go again cannondaleking) priced at 1250 quid for the frame on its own.they gave me the wrong one as they didnt have mine in stock.it would have cost 2200 quid cos it was the lt(?) version with noleen coil over .....

What a result !!

First time around most expensive would of been some new mach 5 forks, since my revival got lots of nice goodies but been a proper bargain hunter I can see my quest for XTR gear getting expensive though :roll:

Yup, never so much that I can't afford, regularly, all I can afford. .

To quote one of the things Sonny Barger (hells angels boss) said about being a real biker, he said ask a man when the chips are down, if teh bike is the first or last thing to go. . .

Well for me, when it all hit the fan 2 years ago, MR2 went, 200mph tuned Hayabusa went, even clothes went. 1996 Yeti stayed.

"How much woudl you spend" , I think it was, and would be, my very last pound. So I guess thats "All of it".
But sometimes escaping to the hills is all thats reminded me I'm alive. .

I reckon i've spent about £5000 in the last ten years
The most expensive being the z2 bombers @£400, new clockwork frame +forks @£300,Ti frame@£200,CK wheelset @£180
And then i came here and bought not 1 expensive item but a whole shed load of little ones ,these all add up
I think the current build has cost about £700[so far :roll: ]

I shudder to think what some of you have spent,in fact the poster of this thread may end up being unpopular for bringing it all to mind
