whats the best way to polish up a aluminium frame

hi,ive got a old nishiki alien but it has a tiny crack in the head tube so i dont fancy riding it but i cant throw it away cos ive had it for years and thought i would strip the paint off and polish it up and put it on my wall,but whats the best way to do it?wet n dry,is there a tool to put in the drill or some kind of liquid.ive got paint stripper to get the paint off but need something to polish it up nice,any help would be nice

Peek polish. Finer than Autosol, leaves no residue and is cheaper.
