231CD's a the early 90's Retro Mavic rim.

But there really is nothing like a set of DB spoked 231CD wheel with a fresh amber/skin wall tyre on it for the looks.

This, 100%. Any bike will look retro with these grey beauties laced with silver spokes and amber walls.

I've had 217's, 231CD's, X317's & X221's (also have a set of 230SBP's, but I've not ridden those yet)

All superb rims, but the 231CD would be the one.

They just look so right!
