What's Still Original on Your Bikes?

On both my Marins, all parts are now worn out or broken, except for a set of thumbies. Only the frames remain as was, and both of them have been repainted.
I have a set of Vanguard levers and Exage cantis, which will crawl out of the bits box soon...

I have had my Pace F6 since new, still has the original front and rear mech, cranks, pedals, stem, bars, forks, rims, hubs and flite.

On the Orange: Frame, forks (not the elastomers...), stem, bar ends, wheels (rear rim replaced), skewers. Still have the original STIs, brakes, chainset, pedals, seatpin, front/rear mechs in my box.

On the Pace, everything except chain, cassette, brake pads, pedals, tyres and seatpost is original. I had it built to my spec so I've been happy with it 8)

Most of the parts on my bikes are the originals, i.e. the bits that were on them when i originally bought or built them, with the exception of chains cassettes and brake blocks. The gripshift X-ray shifters on my Bizango exploded and have been replaced with XTR and new grips but I think that is mostly it.
I have too many bikes and dont wear them out-or ride them enough

Wow a site dedicated to my type of bike.

Hello to everyone

I ride a '97 Explosif with everything original except the forks & tyres. I upgraded to Pace RC36 EVO III (no disk thank you very much). I also ride a Dawes 531 (82?) demo bike with Campag Record everything (drop outs incl) & camapg delta brakes.

Where does the air from my forks?

Keep it real, ride steal (sic)!

Frame only on mine too (93 Merlin) only got the one bike left now and it has been severely updated

Did have the original Pace RC30's until 18 months ago, but now has Sids to provide a bit of relief for my battered body
