What's Luton like?

I might be moving there to finish my degree. Going to visit tomorrow to get a feel for the place.

But have any of you got any insights/advice? Is it a nice place to live? Any good cycling around that way?

Ask MadcowKev he lives in the Independant RB Republic of Luton. As with all places it has its nice bits and not so nice bits. Near the Chiltern hills so plenty of good riding, Woburn is just up the road and Chicksands about half an hours drive.

Well..... It's not Yorkshire, and not even up north so it must be a place for wrong 'uns. Keep well away IMO.

Well, I went, and Luton looks horrible.

It's a really good degree, but I'm not sure I want to live there.
