What you doing ?

Retrobike Rider
Face it , if your reading this your at the bottom of the retrobike barrel , everything good has been looked at

So what should you be doing right now that isn't being done because your obviously sat here ?

I should be changing the 32 tooth chainring on the explosif to the 36 tooth ( will probably change the cranks too ) because I'm doing some kind of group ride on thursday at rutland water ; there is no way my old bike will be slower than the spangly white bouncy bikes there will obviously be in abundance .

lol, snap. i just changed the 32 t on the front of mine that i fitted for mayhem back to a 34 due to getting peeved at spinning out round here. I'll put the 32 on when i get there.

 how did you know?
i should be putting the washing away! we 'let' it build up then do it all at once (because we have to  )
or getting ready for work

cyfa - putting washing away

34 is my chosen chainring but I don't have a spare ring , I've got an uno but the middleburn cranks are on another bike .

I will get some of the new middleburn cranks but the old uno and duo will have an unsuitable chainline ( or that's what I've been led to believe ) so I'm stuck waiting for them to get those sorted so I don't have to buy a spider and chainring I don't really need . The waiting is incredibly annoying though as I keep getting mocked at work for buying a hope bottom bracket but have nothing to use it with and swapping stuff around is wearing thin .

There is nothing I should be doing - unless I can think of more things to sell..

I'm in a lot of pain and have just finished sorting the dinner.

In a minute or 5 I'll be making cups of tea and then I'll be sat here, in the only chair in the house that I can sit in comfortably, watching telly and perusing the interweb.

I'm using a set of m960's cut down and polished on mine. Brought them then realised how much fun it is getting 102 bcd rings for them £40 for an aluminium ss ring? no thanks  managed to find a guy that has a load of goldtech rings left over in 32 & 34t flavour for £15 a pop. Bit easier to stomach. On the subject of Middleburns i would love to be able to justify the new HT2 ones .......

I've just managed to mess up replacing my crossland rear axle so i'm sat in a mood.

Was watching the big match until I realised no one was going to win and then drifted like a rogue iceberg into the shipping lanes that are retrobike, what will be my Titanic

I have just watched some football, purely out of interest as I dont usually follow it... Now off to fix my ergos.

I'm 10hrs and 34 minutes into an epic 24hr Du Mans. It's a cracking race so far across all four classes. Getting low on snacks so will have to head out to the all night garage at some point in the next few hours.
My buddies at RML are still going well and the little Lola is holding up pretty well considering the pace they are running this year, so happy days so far.
