What year were race face turbine cranks first produced?

sean , yours look just like my blue LP's, except mine are 110bcd. 95-96 i think i got em...IIRC.

I looked at the 96 raceface catalogue on the forum and they still had the grooves in them at that point (The ones I had assumed are the later ones when they are actually earlier)

Ours must be 97-98ish like fluffychicken said

Sean

hhmm.... heres a pic:

these look like 95's, no? i briefly looked at the 94 + 95 catalogs here, and they appear to match whats in the 95 book.

size and serial number are hand-engraved on the backside of the arms, near the pedal hole. 175's , #1087.

Re:

Yours got the grooves in the top edges look, mine don't so yours are older than mine. They match what's in the 95 or 6 catalogue to me

ah ha, gotcha. hard to see in the angle of your pic. either way, these are a sweet bit of kit, and im glad i never got rid of these!

Re:

Hand numbered are the earlier of the forged style. Later they are stamped.

Sean, something got mixed in the chat. Grooves have always been there, only later in the 00s iirc around the time ISIS came out where the grooves removed, not the main front groove became much deeper.
You can see here the 1998 LPs and if you look at the DH there is eventually what the LP started to look a bit like iirc.

This thread needs pictures, but I always seem to answer on my phone.

Are you saying they date around the turn of the century? The arms aren't the same design as the Isis ones, but Either way they look pretty cool on my 94 zaskar
