No problem in sorting them if indeed they need sorting 
Top caps on my Z2's are 26mm,likely youll need a large shifter[waterpump pliers could do at a push :? ]
Im guessing here,but the lack of top cap adjusters is no bad thing.I think if you just unscrew them thats about all you'll need to do to access everything

Probably have the undo the bolts inside the lower legs[you can see them in there.A socket on extension will do[sorry cant remember the size]
This should allow you to remove and internals through the top of the leg
after you remove the internal springs [or whatevers in there]
You must pour out the fluid before undoing those bolts.Or the fluid will ruin the carpet and your wife will kill you
Dont slide out the stanchions unless the seals have gone and you have them to hand ready to install them[you need a special tool for this so dont attempt it lest you have them.]
do this then come back fro further advice.#

they wrecked my rebound cartridge :evil: and chipped a bit off my Chris King upper race taking off the fork in the first place

Think i have made a mess , i took the brace of but one bolt is rounded of so i moved it round to the side so could start nitormosing the forks. I have striped the paint nearly of one of the legs. Then i decided to take the end caps of the stations and oily water came out everywhere and a spin aswell. have i broke thses now??
Nope .that all sounds part of the servicing program
the 'oily water' is the oil that keeps the internals lubed.Needs to be replaced
When you say one of the bolts has rounded off,do you mean just the bolt itself or the threads inside?
If its just the bolt theyre easy and cheap to replace
My advice is to remove all the bits.
Strip the parts off and paint strip the bits you want stripped.
Lay it all out on a bit of newspaper
Slowly reassemble till you come to putting the end caps back on,at that point you will need to refill the legs to the level stated in the manual.
You can buy oil of marzocchi but if you ask around on chat[off topic of course] then im sure someone will know of an alternative oil

The manual states "adjustable damping through-oil height,oil viscosity and valve porting"
Sorry. i dont know enough about that model to know what 'valve porting' is
Good fork.has pro-wind springs,coated easton stanchions
Just not the same adjust-ability that the Z's have but still a good XC fork
