i have two friends who are aerospace engineers (so they know Ti) and cycling nuts (so they know bikes)

one of them would have their hands on it about 11 seconds after it arrived

Sometimes it's best to let things die; yes I am sure it can be re-welded but can it be repaired as they are two totally different things? Everyone seems to have a friend who can reweld anything, yet people who actually do weld titanium on here have both said the bike is dead, and I believe them over a friend of a friend down the pub.

Yes, I understand that it's a 'Karma' gift, but this Karma thing seems now to be turning into weeks long ego-stroking, where people act incredulous if anyone disagrees with them just because they feel they have a moral high-ground. Here's some news, this Karma thing has been going on on here since day one with people giving out huge amounts of stuff for free without the need for public adulation and applause.

Hell, I know that this makes me an unpopular arsehole but quite frankly it's all going a bit far now.
