Farrier.

I didn't realise just how much I liked horses until it was waaay too late.

Nice job, but never seen one without a dodgy back by about 45

I know a few well past that age who are still going strong.

I also know a couple who could have afforded to retire before 50 without any trouble at all

Medicine, probably.

yep, be some sort of medical consultant - then earn in a day what folks earn in a month so have more spare time .....

Still trying to find something!...
I did a Pre-Press Apprenticeship in Print & over 18 years chased the job round the UK, rising to the dizzy heights of Studio Management. Sacked it off for a chance with an Electrical Contractor. Qualified & struggled ever since for permanent work...

Now working in the Bike Trade of sorts, but still looking for an elusive career that will hold me till I can retire (when)...

Own my own Bike Shop.......no hang on,I was really into cars as a kid,so I became a mechanic and that ruined my hobby totally,So maybe not.

Erm,would have been great to get into Music as a producer, yes that would be great, taking a bands ideas and making a superb record
