Hello all.
Sorry if there's a thread like this already - i've searched but couldn't see anything similar.
Being out of touch myself i'm just wanting your expert opinions on tyre/inner tube combos.
I prefer a lightweight, grippy tyre with good cornering ability.
Tyres I remember having were amber Smoke/Darts, white Porcs (I wish i'd bought more!) and Conti Cross Country Kevlars.
I seem to remember the Contis being my faves with their light weight and ability to cut through mud.
I used regular tubes and Air-B (?) Latex tubes, the latex obviously being lighter and I never had much trouble with punctures.
I guess what i'm asking is what tyres & tubes do you guys use?
Do you stay retro or go for modern tyres?
Do old tyres deteriorate over time?
Cheers
