What to do with a Trek Klein

Dirt Disciple
I have a Klein Pulse from the unloved Trek period. I wanted a single speed bike to use in winter. Being single speed and fully rigid I felt an older frame would meet the requirement for a stiff rear end for climbing and a frame that had a degree of compliance as it was rigid.

This is my answer to " what to do with a Trek Klein"

Lovely!......I think these are thrown out with the proverbial bath water when folk turn a nose up at trek owned kleins.......I bet that rides great!.....

I will admit I went silly on gold bits. Bit daft really.

It rides really well. I have several modern bikes and this makes me smile every time I go out. I know it will not be to everyone's taste but it is a cheap bike to do winter rides on.

I prefer old bikes for everyday cycling, I think most of us are in that camp. Here is my commuter

Both Bikes look Great ...
How did you get the Disc brake on the klein Pulse ? Did the frame have the option or was it added
Great looking Kona singlespeed....

Love that Kona! Wish I lived in a place flat enough to go singlespeed - like the idea of the simplicity. Particularly for commuting.

Hey Gull Arm

Far better to own a Klein thats a ridder rather than a garage queen with a ponsy paint job
you daren't get wet let a loan muddy

So don't applogies for owning a ridder... or hide them pictures from us
