Bought this frame a few years back, but never really built it up, apart from a half hearted SS build.

Anyway got it out of the garage loft to take the brakes off for the Voodoo, it will now be the next build, but what is it?

Just some bits thrown on to see what it looks like, 1" steerer by the way.

Ta Reluctant

Having a look I recon it is a '96 as the dropouts are identical with the conventional cable routing.

have you looked below the bottom bracket ?
you will see the year for sure ( just aftrr an S which starts the serial number) and sometimes the name of the model is engraved too

mid to low range frame probably as there are some fenders and luggage rack attachments ( unlike the 5000 in tange DB which has no luggage stuff)

the weight should give you another clue

but these frame whatever are very well chromium finished, last long and are sturdy. so if it is a heavier model, il will do a very nice "pub bike"

Ta I will check that out when I get home.

It actually feels very light, lighter than the Voodoo Erzulie frame (which is not top end but is all chromo )

It only cost £30, and as it seems it is a lower end frame I won't worry about the Deore/STX and gripshifts I will be putting on it!

But yes it will be the hack/bike to take on Holiday as the chrome is decent so will be happy sitting on the back of the car.

Checked the frame number and it is a 95, so I guess built in 95 for the 96 model year, hence the 96 dropouts.
