What std pedals were Orange offering in 1993 / 1994

About 6 months back i purchased a 1994 C16R with some Redline Pedals fitted, several months later i saw a 1996 P7 with identical pedals. Its possible that a dealer or even Orange themselves kitted these out on bikes as standard for those who wanted an alternative to SPD pedals or for those who like the 'Beartrap' style. They looked exactly like the ones in the pic, I still have mine tucked away in the Man Cave :D

Tioga Surefoots were decent flats, from that era.

I always use Surefoot VIs on my bikes - they have a grease port similar to the grease guard thing on some Suntour pedals of that era.

Victor VP Flats I remember were from about '92, a light touring style similar to XT, in fact pretty near identical really and they lasted longer that the XT flats I had, needle bearings I think. But toe clips yes, but always use them if you have them or else find out how good a brake they are when they catch the terrain. There was also a sort of half toe clip which was marginally better and a Tioga stap thing which wasn't bad but spd's are the way to go or just plain flats with no bindings if you don't mind losing the crank power.
