The answer to the question 'which floor?' would let you know.. I have a lawnmower sitting in the dining room as I speak. Servicing it in the warmth.

That's so refreshing to hear, I've got a Suzuki GS1000 in the middle of the living room floor AND I'm in a first floor flat

Firkin ell!

I still have a cassette player in my car. Purposely got a unit for the house so I could still record from cd to tape.
Nearly 400 7"singles at home too. I'll get a record player again sometime, just so I can embarrass myself with my '80s musical taste!
Old, heavy but great binoculars too. 10x50 Carl Zeiss jobbies

There's a 1200 Bandit scattered around the house as well

Re:

You can have the best of both - reassuringly retro feel and look but stuffed with helpful tech for those needing a little help(reading glasses etc) Lovely it is.

My GS1000E is currently in the conservatory!

Oh and other retro stuff, not really retro as I had it from new...fishing tackle, Hi Fi separates bought new in the 80s, Nikon and Olympus camera, a Maglite before anyone had heard of them, a 70s BMW, an 80s Volvo...the list goes on.

Jon.
