Hi. I am after some muddy condition tyres to fit my retro p7. Clearance doesn't seem massive and I am a little concerned that some modern mud tyres might not fit. I don't mind using modern if they will fit ok. What do others recommend?
I had in mind the Specialized Storm tyres, but the impression I have of these is they are quite big volume for the size and may be a squeeze to fit in at the rear.

heard good things about bontrager mud x tyres but i've never used them. Schwalbe black shark mud tyres do the job for me & they'll be put to the test again this weekend i reckon!

I was out and about on some Panaracer Trailrakers yesterday.

They did eventually admit defeat on a very steep wet rock and clay hill, but they were pretty solid in all the mud and dirt.

Totally pants on wet slippery rocks and roots though, and I have the grazes to prove it.

They are fitted to my 1990 Roberts, so not a lot of clearance on the frame, but the 2.1's slot in very nicely.

Bonty Mud X all the way if you can get 'em.

Amazing things in the wet and mud, and actually roll well on hard pack.
