Retro Newbie
Hello everyone,
I have recently discovered this bicycle that belonged to my grand father! However I have no idea of what kind of bike this is? The logo seems to be half and I can't find any information about the age, the model, the value etc of it! I would like to restore it but just wanted to know a few more details and if it worths it! Thanks in advance!

Below you can find some pics of it

Re:

The head badge suggests German, possibly East, looks about 1950s.
Appears to have some British parts.
I would suggest the value at zero or less.

Re:

I can see some deeply significant sentimental value ... and some pretty cool pinache as far as uniqueness is concerned, if and when she's all cleaned, re-conditioned, and pretty.

I can't help with the financial valuation but the sentimental aspect of this being your grandfathers would make it worthy of a restoration to me.

one eyed jim is spot on......Wikipedia Deutschland << https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6ricke >> have a blurb and some pics that Google roughly translates: "Since 1895 bikes were produced. 1899 took place renaming in Bielefeld machine and bicycle works AG, August Göricke. Starting from 1903 also motorcycles were produced. 1921 was renamed Göricke-Werke AG.

One year after the bankruptcy in 1929 bought a German-Dutch consortium NVTE (Naam Looze Vennootschap dead Exploitatieder Göricke Fabrieken), the company, which then changed its name as a GmbH. In October 1941 there was a after the merger with mechanical and apparatus Erich nipple a change of name to Göricke Bicycle and Machine Factory, Nipple & Co. Since 1964, the brand of the Göricke Panther Werke AG will continue to be produced (wages)

Products [edit]
Since 1899 bikes were produced with shaft drive. In 1932 followed bicycles duralumin. The company also presented mopeds and motorcycles [1] ago. The product spectrum ranges up to 500 cc machines. In the period from the 1950s built Göricke mostly engines of Schweinfurt Fichtel - & - Sachs Group and cc of JLO with displacements from 50 to 200. Between 1907 and 1908, the company introduced....."

looks as if your machine was made after 1941 and before 1964
