My Shin scar from slipping a pedal nearly joins up with my replacement knee scar. when I did my shin I was in the over it middle of nowhere so I just gaffer taped some tissue over the gash , I can still feel it where I talk about it.Women talk about the pain of child birth they just don't know what us guys go through.

Sakea Low Fat, XT M735, MKS Mt Lux.
I also had some VP pedals that were nice, looked like XT pedals and were very light, I
have no idea what they were; they looked like the XT pedals but were double sided and
lighter they also had cartridges rather than balls.

I went over to V12s as I like not having to flick the pedals over and the way they grip my boots.

I have these vp pedals you're talking about. Similar to 196's but with hollowed out platform. I can only read the number 19...something. Been looking but can't find them. Smooth and light

EDIT: Looking at them again. Could be VP-196 air?

not sure what year they were but the DX MX30 pedals are light, spin for days and have just enough pins to keep porn faces at bay. I still have mine, the pedals. (thats not a sales pitch btw)
