What is this frame?

Hi all. I have an aluminium frame that was a warranty replacement from a bike shop near Newton Abbot railway station. I got it in around 1998 and if my memory serves me right, I was told that it was a Kinesis Maxlight. Having searched the web I’m not so sure. Anyone know what it might be?

Merlin malt 1? So yes, basically a kenisis frame.

Yep. Ive an early maxlite, which is basically the same design. Thrashed about on it for years.....

Hi Chris. If you still have this one, what's the frame number please? Might help to ID it.
