What is the best groupset over the past 25 years (1998-2023) in your opinion?

Dura Ace 7800. Durable enough for cyclocross use, and lighter in feel than the even more beautiful 9 speed predecessor

For looks I like DA 7700. VFM/ If I was buying the groupset I'd go with 11 speed Athena.

Campagnolo - Record Titanium 9 speed. Not too much carbon, chain rings with 5 mounting bolts, 9 speed so still a decent thickness chain and second series 9 speed so all the bugs were worked out. Best of all - a square taper BB axle.

Dura Ace 9000 is the best looking group Shimano will ever make imo. Trends will come & go & the polished silver might not always be bang on trend,, but it works so well, is nicely finished & looks unlike anything else Shimano have produced. A very successful group too in terms of race wins etc.
