What hi fi system you got ?

I have a matching set of AKAI seperates and speakers that I got from a charity shop for £20. The belts need replacing in the cassette deck, I'm kind of scared to start taking it apart but I'd rather get it working than replace it with something that doesn't match.

I say go for it. If you can find the belts online it's an easy project. It's probably easier than setting up cantilever brakes. Just take tons of pictures and only take one belt off at a time. Repairing stuff is always better than buying new and you get the satisfaction of a job well done.

I had a pair of Infinity Qb to play with at some point, they were great fun until the tweeters gave out sadly.
