Tootyred Old School Grand Master Feedback View Monday at 20:23 #23 I wouldn't recommend putting a hanger into a headset. It puts all the wrong forces on all the wrong threads. Either get a stem with a hanger built in, or put a hanger on the quill above the headset. Only my opinion, but.....

S sefton1275gt Retro Guru Tuesday at 12:58 #25 seems I have 2 options 1 1/8 30mm crown race 38mm stack 1) 38mm stack https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/headsets/tange-seiki-falcon-fl270c-1-18-inch-threaded-headset-silver/ 2) 39mm stack https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/headsets/sunlite-threaded-loose-ball-1-18-headset-black/ (would the 39mm stack be my best bet)? appologies for all the questions (struggling to wrap my head around this one)

Tootyred Old School Grand Master Feedback View Tuesday at 15:53 #26 Go for the falcon its probably better quality. You might just need a spacer ( an old lock ring is perfect ).

S sefton1275gt Retro Guru Yesterday at 10:29 #27 Seems only silver is 38stack. What a pain in the ass
S sefton1275gt Retro Guru Today at 15:17 #28 So…it seems that this headset (in black) is actually 38mm stack (the same as the silver version) SJS cycles measured it for me. It seems every place on the internet listed it incorrectly https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/headsets/tange-seiki-1-18-inch-threaded-headset-black/ (The listings been fixed now)
