Tootyred Old School Grand Master Feedback View Today at 08:24 #3 Not all the same there's jis and iso. If you measure the steerer crown iso is 26.4mm (considered normal i suppose) and jis is 27.0mm. Its harder to tell from tje frame as the tube i.d. is jis is 30.0 and iso is 30.2. As for parts, tange still make some nice headsets that don't cost the earth. However, you need to consider the limits of your stack height. Last edited: Today at 08:35

DaiP Dirt Disciple Today at 08:26 #4 That looks like a threaded steerer. Stack height (including a cable hanger if used) is the main consideration. I used a new 1 inch threaded IRD headset on my bike. It seems to be decent quality so far. Bought online from SJS Cycles.

DaiP Dirt Disciple Today at 08:28 #5 Forgot to say you may need to check thread pitch as others have said there are a couple of different standards.

Splatter Paint Retrobike Rider Feedback View Today at 10:40 #10 You need to take the race off and measure the diameter to determine if ISO or JIS.
