I'm also not singling anyone out, or losing a sense or proportion. Just stating that in my humple opine, the OP know's that it's not the best in his first post, and that he wants a rough idea of it's (humble) origins.

I'm not judging anyone or anything, just helping with a tongue-in-cheek question about a bike. Being touchy about asking why you asked a seemingly obvious question (about the Zaskar/STS point) seemed to hit a raw nerve. I'm very sorry for that and apologise. No need to doubt my sincerity though, as I'm sure I'll not affect the love felt towards bottom of the range GT's on Retrobike.

Subtle sarcasm is not to be confused with irony incidentally, but you know that.
