What GT is this?

Hi! I have been looking at your posts on this page for a while but today is the first time I publish, let me know if the format is wrong or something.

I have doubts about this frame, poped up for cheap in local marketplace, i haven't seen a GT in this colorway before, and the tequesta from 98-99 (year i think from the decals) according to Google is cromo tubes, this one looks like it's aluminum.
I'm interested on the frame only, but what rear derailleur would be that one?
Thanks.

Could be any low end 7005 frame.

I doubt it’s any higher than a Tequesta in the range as people tend not to down grade their decals on a higher frame.

You can literally pick any 7005 framed GT up for pennies online now so much easier and nicer to buy whichever one you want.

As above. Unless you want to use some of the parts and ride it while you upgrade.

Rear mech is probably acera or something low down the pecking order much like the shifters and cranks.
