They used to have a large archive of old Shimano exploded parts diagrams, but I guess someone at Shimano complained.

Luckily they still have "explosions" there . Look from this list:

From DIGEST column click E and there you go... All parts doesn't have exploded diagrams but quite many have . It's in German but you see parts and they spare part numbers. Very nice and in good order. "Alles in ordnung" as I was thinking...

Yeah, but I'm sure it used to be much more extensive. Now a lot of the links lead either to the Shimano website or Google image searches. The searches often lead to dead links back to deleted files from the old archive.

Thanks guys! I have a lovely steel frame to build up. I'm undecided on groupset and may yet hang it from the wall as art. I will email the builder to confirm the year is '93. It has no rear canti hanger, threadless forks and a one inch headset.

What would you put on a classic rigid US steel handbuilt frame?
