Hi all , stripped this frame now...i am still trying to work out what it is, a few have said they believe its a saracen, it has a sixdigit code on the BB starts SR802...is that a saracen code...its got proper brgs in the s/arm pivot so its not a cheapy copy...also it has bosses welded to the seat post mount which i have only seen on saracens....

Anyone help??

It's not in the Saracen catalogues (1998) or 1997 and doubt it would be any earlier.
(taking the SR8... as 1998 built)

Ok...thanks Fluffychicken... this is hard work trying to find this?..i spent 2 days prepping for new powdercoat..i can tell ya its a nice frame great welding and 6002 brgs in the s/arm pivot, and frame mount bb not s/arm as early ones were...gonna keep it whatever, but i would like to put the original decals on if ever poss...

Hi Maxipedia, i looked at them too, i think wheeler are German are they not?...i have only seen the later shape wheeler frames and they looked slightly different...but if anyone knows what the early ones were like please let me know...
So far i have learnt of loads of frames that i never heard of...so its all education to me :)

Yes, they are Taiwan built bikes from a German company. I thought about a 1998 DZX 9000, but I guess I was wrong. I didn't look it up, I just posted here.

Is that a Fox Vanilla shock? I also thought about Pure Power, a true German company from the late 90's, early 2000's, but it's a bit far fetched...

If I figure something more productive, I'll let you know.

Cheers,
Mx
