max..I'm not pushing the shop but it does give you some idea of the options..I've used k swiss before on ceramics and they were long lasting and fine

I tried a direct link but it took me to bearings

go the the link..then in thier search part type in ceramic brakes

I somehow prefer regular brakepads, because I got the idea that the ceramic coating gets f***ed by the ceramic-pads.
On my Zaskar I have ceramic crossmax and one wheels has regular pads and the ceramic on the rims is fine and one wheel has ceramic-pads and the ceramic on the rims is faded.

And I had a 117 Mavic ceramic and used ceramic pads and the whole rims is now without ceramic.

Having just bought ceramic rims (for the first time) I did a bit of research and have come to the same conclusion as above i.e. Ceramic pads = hard = acelerated coating wear :-(

I think it is a choice of what you want to replace most, pads or rims :?

Personally, I am going to use the standard (quite hard) pads that my xtr v's have come with (to initially flat off the ceramic) and then change to Kool stops and replace them when needed - quite frequently I think ...

most of the people I know that use ceramic rims tend to be touring peoples as due to thier good build and longevity they make a lot of sense

Perhaps rotti if you try the touring forums...thorn bike forum and the touring section in ctc forum you might get a shed load of info?
