What Bike is This? - Max Glaskin & Jeremy Torr book - 1988

The bike on the cover of this 1988 book is very cool. Elegant fork, sloping top tube, chain-stay mounted roller-cam brake. Looks to be fillet brazed.
Anyone know the manufacturer / model?

Interesting.... In front of the bottle there looks to be a silver fish on the downtube. That looks kind of familiar as does the top tube graphic but damned if i can remember what it is!!!

The derailleur is all kinds of deformed in the photo so hard to say. Identifying the shifters first, as they are pretty sharp, might help id the derailleur.

The shifters look a bit Suntour Power Shifter-ish.

Not sure on the cranks or the derailleur. Front brakes are wide profile but not sure on brand.

My mind immediately went Fat Chance because of the bright, fun colour, cartoonish logo which was so high up the downtube - but no, it's not a Fat Chance logo, to the best of my knowledge.
