Looking for something with about this much travel and a long steerer, so these seem to fit the bill, but which Judy are they and are they worth that money....? (I should add, I like the colour and it will suit the build a treat.... )

Re:

I'd say that's too much as you can get mid to late 2000 Fox for that. I had some 1999 Judy's once and they were woeful.

Re:

Definitely over priced Kaz.

Look at the Gary Fisher Kaitai in my sig. I got the whole chassis with very similar forks for £100.
Fancy some red ones instead?

Mike

Re:

It's the steerer length as much as the colour that attracted me to these, needs to be at least 210-215mm IIRC, going to double check head tube length at some point today.

Do you know the steerer length on yours Mike off the top of your head?

Re:

No, but I think around 180mm mark. I'll check in a little while and report back. What are you building? Seems long for you Kaz?

Re:

Agree with mike seems very long for you Kaz what you building

Re:

Agree with the above that these are overpriced. I bought a set of judy hydracoils as spares last summer off eBay for £15 shipped. Might get them rebuilt if this is now the going rate!

Re:

Hold yer horses, lads, hold yer horses....

Just had a proper look and measure up, sold to me as 17" frame, short top tube compared to modern bikes, turns out it's an 18" and 23 1/2" top tube!!!!

It's a Trek VRX. It's now going back up for sale
