What A Difference A Day Makes.

The long weekend is my favourite thing. Not long enough to get tired of it, just long enough to chill out thoroughly.

An afternoon watching the football, and the sun has come out just in time to spend a couple of hours in the hills.

I vote we change to a four day working week.

When I worked in London on agency I often did 24 hour sleep over shifts. I could get two weeks worth of hours done and out of the way between Monday afternoon and Friday afternoon, but I am an old man now.

I reckon a lot of people would be happy to work a longer day in return for more days off.

My brother in the USA gets next to no time off, and often works late for no extra when there is pressure to get jobs done.

Quite happy we have some stricter laws here.

I would just like a weekend off, only time I get one is if I book the whole week off. Finished nights this morn and only had 2 hours kip in the last 30 or so. Will do the sleep of the dead later. So if any of my posts are a tad weird on a sunday now you know why.

Wish I had an excuse for my posts being weird.

That is the thing I don't miss about shift work, the turn around.

Can end up going days without real sleep, specially when your compadres don't work shifts.
