The shop in town had a mail order side and since the owner sold off the shop we all just started going to the warehouse . I don't think Dan has charged me full price for anything

I still do the old trick of chain cleaned and de greased, in oven, once hot put in tray of clean motor oil and when cold wipe dry.

Been doing this once a year per chain for nigh on 20 years and no problems at all.

Modern lubes... Call yer sel' retro! Jeezze. :roll:

A few drops of Finish Line's wet lube does my chain right. I degrease the chain, cassette and chainset after each ride. Then spray with something similar to GT85. Then apply a few drops of the finish line lube and run the chain through the gears.
