I picked this up a while ago,

Consensus is that it was probably an Emmelle similar to LGFs posted earlier.
I’ve resprayed it and made up some suitable decals, not quite finished yet though

Will probably swap the u brakes for rollercams though

Roller cams I can relate to, but this thread has made me twitchy, I have to admit I don't get it when it comes to U brakes, instant repulsion, same as when I see billy bonkers on retro bikes.
Must be some kind of inverse snobbery I can't fathom.

Well, a U-brake is nothing more than a centerpull brake, be it a little beefier!

And the centerpull is still one of the best rim brake!

I'd say that the u-brake is to the centerpull what the rollercam is to the Jeay brake!

So, it's really nothing new!
