I was considering selling my boat as I dont really give it much use any more. Then I thought, how about a swap for a bike since I'd use the money towards a frame anyway
Boat is a Zodiac Cadet Fastroller FR 360 Activ-V (3.6m). High pressure air floor. Pretty much the next best thing to a RIB. It fits in the boot of a large estate car. With the 15hp engine on, it does an indicated 24.2mph on full plane with one large (!) adult male.
I also have a Mercury 15hp 2 stroke engine for it plus a lot of accessories, anchor, Hummingbird SONAR/Fish Finder and fuel tank etc. Engine comes on a wheeled lifter.
It is all in good nick and I've flushed it following every use. Its all from 2000 iirc.
New price would be pretty high, £2,000 for engine and around £1,500 for the inflatable. Accessories are also worth a fair bit (over £500).
I'm on the lookout for a very high end frame. So Moots, Seven, Eriksen, Kish and the like. I want it to be modern as I indulge my retro passions with other makes.
If I cant get a frame like that, I'll consider another titanium high end complete bike.
So, question is, would anyone, by any chance, be looking for a good sized inflatable with a fast engine. Before anythingis confirmed I'll test all the gear to make sure its as good as it can be, so this wont be an instant thing.
If the exact thing doesnt come up, I forsee more boating in my future as I'm not exactly overjoyed about parting with this.
Let me know of any interest, I'll consider anything within reason, as long as its modern
