Weight and bikes capability

The worlds best Clydesdale friendly seat posts are the Control Tech ones with the central rib though them.

The warranty was good when I bent them with massive leg power, or was it massive weight?

I am 6' tall and currently 16 1/2 st. As I said earlier have not been a well boy recently which included a spell on steroids. Put on 2st in 8 weeks. Aiming to get back my fitness and get back down below 15st. The illness I have is not very bike friendly as the day after a tough ride I am completely exhausted. Working at it and with some careful diet changes and moderate rides a few times a week. Will hopefully rejoin the RB Clydesdales soon.

BITD: Lots of riding and racing, little money for shiny things so indulged our hobby by cycling.

NOW: Lots of tea and cake while we search the internet / wait for postman / fit new shiny widget to bike we would have cut a bollock off for BITD. Not so much riding going on methinks!

I am the worst culrpit.

Dear Clydesdale Anonymous
While I am rapidly on my way to joining you there is a steel tubing that is excellent for the larger frame and has the side effect of being very good/excellent compared to other steel frames for the larger weight.
Look for a Columbus MAX OR framed bike, often found easily in a Kona Explosif from 1995 to 1997. Can be found elsewhere but you don't see them often and from earlier years.
Anyways, give it a try.

that weight chart is poo
it needs another 27.5kg on the end scale

so im quite big (6'3 and 125kg lots of muscle i might add  ) and have always found cannondales take it well
the gt,s i have had not so well
my biggest problem has allways been snapping chains and wheel qr,s not holding tight enough and allowing the back wheel to slip on the chain side
