Hi folks, looking to offload some big items that I don't wish to post and the Peaks ride next Saturday seems a good opportunity. So to clarify, all the items in this thread will be only available for collection at the Peaks ride, only stake a claim to them if you are attending or know someone who is attending and willing to collect for you. Payment would be the most straight forward in cash but I suppose some sort of paypal deal could be done also.

1. Diamond Back Topanga 1990 complete bike.
Measurements approx as follows..
17 & 3/4" C-T
16 & 1/2" C-C
21 & 3/4" TT

The build thread (not really a build more of an overhaul) for it is here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... ht=topanga
The bike will be for sale pretty much how it stands in the last set of photos, the only addition being a sealed bottom bracket, fitted last week.
I've had about 3-400 miles use out of it on the road only (with semi slicks) and can confirm that everything works as it should, this bike is ready to ride as is.

It really is in great condition for its age and would have received some serious upgrades should I have decided to keep it. Just being honest it's minor bad points are the spoke plating being tarnished, scratched bars (from fitting lights), back wheel slightly out of true.

Can't think of anything else to add but any questions please ask. As you'll see in the original thread I paid peanuts for the bike, but I've added a few bits; brakes, seatpost, bottle cage, grips, bottom bracket and a few odds n sods. I also did a 100 mile round trip to fetch it so I think my price is fair.

I would like £45 for it with the scruffy flite that is pictured or £40 with the original Avocet Gelflex. Sold to chrisv40 for £40 with flite

2. Saracen Traverse Elite, frame only.
Approx.
19 & 1/4" C-T
17" C-C
22" TT

The frame and paintwork is in reasonable condition I'd say, certainly not in need of a repaint. Worst damge is 3 little dings on the top tube which I've tried to photograph (photos at end of post), I don't think there are any more. One or two of the letters on the decals are beginning to peel, it may be possible to stick them back down. My kitchen scales put the frame at around 2.35kg. I bought this many years ago but it's just too big for me so now's a good a time as any for it to go.

I'd like £30 for it please. Sold to legrandfromage £25

3. Muddy Fox Courier Comp; frame, forks, headset, seatpost.
Approx.
19" C-T
16 & 1/2" C-C
22 & 1/2" TT

This was a sort of p/x for a workbike I sold to a mate, too big for me (aren't they always) so it's going. You will actually get what I've listed above not what is in the photo as I'm going to strip it later this week. It's well used but I believe it to be sound with no dings, it may clean up ok, it may need painting. Should be a photo in the next thread, no room in this one.

This one is Karma/free/ gratis to anybody that can make use of it. Gone to grannygrinder

So there you go, please post interest in the thread before a pm so it's all open and fair. If you do sort of dib an item and then on viewing it on Saturday decide it's not for you then no problems, I've tried to describe them the best I can but my "OK" isn't necessarily yours.

Thanks for lookin', Chris :)

Bargain - a newer version of the one in my signature unless I A am mistaken 8)

I think it has a 93 stamped on the underside, it also has a noodle on the seat tube like yours. This one needs a bit of love but worth saving I think.
