ok, here's my attempt...

I would love to get hold of this frame as over the last 12 months I have spent a small fortune and many, many hours rebuilding and customising a 16" 1997 GT Timberline for my girlfriend.

This has included trying out no less than 5 pairs of forks, loads of different tyres, stems and handlebars, lots of trick anodized parts etc, etc...

Despite it's consistently funny handling (regardless of fork length changes) she loves her little GT - why, she even joined Retrobike to discuss the bike!

Just this week, I thought I had finally got the build right... great I thought, she'll love her GT even more with it's Z5s (the 5th pair - thank you xizang)... we went out for a spin... it still handles funny (I agreed)... we think the frame must be bent :x :evil: :x :evil: :x :evil:

I've come so close to converting her to MTBs... she wants her GT so much, but she just can't ride her current one... so please, help me make everything better

I am 6ft 1 1/2 tall and ride 19" kona so maybe bit small for me

I for one think Rojo should have it. He has had rubbish time recently and i know he relly wants this. I even have some parts i can donate to his karma build.

I'd be too small for him. If I swapped grannygrinder for his avalanche I'd have a frame big enough :idea:

I've read the pm's. I'll not be having the Avalanche, it'd be for Rojo. That's how it would be big enough, FOR HIM.

As for me swapping the Marin, it has absolutely nothing to do with this.
