I remember when I was about 10-13 years old I'd go cycling with my dad along leeds and Liverpool canal between Barnsley and as far up as Keighley. Once or twice we ran into people that this sort of thing had happened to. I remember one guy got pushed off and his bike stolen. I think this was the main intention of the "pushers" as probably is now. I heard of other people been pushed off also but they may have just been tales I d poo by know.
We all know that canal tow paths are used by cyclists, some on very expensive bikes. Maybe people are been pushed off so the person pushing can steal these high priced machines?
Whether that is or is not the reason, this needs to be stopped asap.
Maybe a group of cyclists target the pushers and give them a taste of their own medicine/canal water!!
Here's hoping it doesn't happen again any time soon.
