This old war horse has had some love and been a few places.

New to me, huge thanks must go to Chris for thinking of me - raiding a donor bike for some of the build kit and looking forward to going for a hoon once its finally sorted.

Yeah - not 100% sure on its history but will know doubt find out when its built and being used. Think there were only a couple around locally and Shedrat will know doubt have some insights.

Planning to build it up with XC pro. Not planning on touching the frame at all but it will end up being very useable and should work well. Kind of scary when you start with a couple of dirty mechs, shifters and canti's and you think you have a group set. Anyway it fits into my collection niceley. Have known it was coming for a year and always wanted one befiore that so looking forward to it.

Said frame has quite the history apparently........ Some local heroes have used and abused the old girl over the years

It's definitely a 1989 which is a perfect fit for my 89 Fisher collection. Am actually very excited about this bike. Picked up a sweet original Paragon last month and getting close to building my CR-7 that actually fits me. How's the progress on your CR-7?
