wanted: tool kit

Hi all.

i am looking any advise or suggestion to buy a tool kit for restore my gf(bike :mrgreen: ) . last time i looking in Aldi Bikemate tool kit but wonder with quality but like the price. Now, i still looking to get tool kit whether new or used but in good condition.

Simply do not bother with a cheap complete kit unless budget is an issue, they are totally rubbish and will not last.
Exactly what tools do you need? How complex a kit in other words?
I would buy some quality long Allen keys separately, a quality chain splitter, a spoke wrench, some good tyre levers, BB and Cassette/freewheel removers (depending on the components fitted) Pedal spanner. If your' feeling flush, would go for a torque wrench, with allen bits, rather than Allen keys.
When I consider my full workshop, it probably stands me to £3000 or more, but good tools are never cheap.
The expensive stuff are headset presses and removers, BB and headset facers, BB taps and wheeljigs. I have a Campag' BB press/puller for modern Ultra torque cranks and it was £475

Campagnolo are the best, then Park, but Fat Spanner and Ice Toolz are both pretty good, Tacx are not bad either.
