I am avoiding buying any more bicycles so have decided to pimp my explosif after it ate its pads at mayhem..........

Disc fork so all good. Going with a BLACK fork now so brake needs to be BLACK. To go with the BLACK

Nothing silly just standard fare please. Wheel and rotor on the way so just a brake please. About 80cm of hose would be perfect but a little shorter ok.

The v-brake pads weren't original, were they? I seem to remember some chap on a Kona wearing a set of Shimano pads out in about an hour in the early 90s so there was definitely some dodgy ones around.

They weren't. They actually pulled out of the carrier and wedged the wheel!

I had that same bike in the gold, 1992 if I recall, well mine was anyway, think the 1991 model looked pretty much the same.

I can't help with wheel or rotor but I do have a front brake with pads ready to go that doesn't have a matching rear that I'd sell. It's an Avid brake, and the lever and caliper are white (can't remember the model name) and I'm looking for £15 plus post (won't be much)
